Silicon will still be with us for decades even if the practical production details for high-performance organic devices are feasible.

 

I remember when LEDs were first developed, part of the hype what is the possibility of printing onto paper as it turned out the organic dye is way too hygroscopic to be used that way. It would be nice to have a flat screen TV that I could hang up like wallpaper.
