I wish Amazon, eBay, Ali Express, and the like would get serious about their brands and have groups focused on cleaning up their collective acts so we don't have to filter through so much chaff.

You should see the translation into spanish Amazon makes of some products... for instance, it's common to see they translate "spiral spring" into "primavera espiral" ...
