It is simple to run a motor for a short time with an incorrect hook-up. But that same connectionarrangement will not survive for a hour with the motor delivering any useful power. I see way to much faked stuff from that site to believe any of it is real.

ah yes, very true, and that second motor in the video link I posted that he says, "this one is weak, I would throw it away" or something like that, I honestly believe he just wired it incorrectly, or better yet partially

 

I stand by my comment in post #22, regarding the correctness of the yootoob information. That venue is K for cartoons and jokes, but way too many of those jokes are claiming to be good information.

The clown in the YOOTOOB video seems to be less knowledgeable about motors than anyone else. I could only stand a few minutes of the babbling, so I did not watch the whole thing. I left after the remark about not understanding schematic diagrams.
