I agree that it is a valid and proper question and C is the proper answer.
Sometimes more experianced people try to read too much into a basic question and go jumping into the tall weeds. Points A & B will always measure the same as the battery terminal voltage, regardless of if the battery is under load or not or partially discharged or not. If the battery voltage sags so will the voltage at points A & B.
