We have a number of NEC K014016-15 integrated circuits and cannot find any information as to what they are.
Has anyone else come across them or know where we can source the data?
I have also tried NEC Japan but can only find a reference for consumer ic's 1983/84.

The part number suggests to me that it might be a 16 kilobit memory, or maybe a 4 bit x 16 k, with an access time of 150 ns, but I have no idea if that actually is the case.

 

In various situations, the manufacturer use a easy acquisition device and overwrite other code, with a untention that someone can fior change the damaged device.

pretty much standard. same as 4116, there is many kinds and all are the same 2K static RAM
