Hi Guys n Gals. New kid on the forum.
I ride a motorcycle and it has a 12v Cigarette power socket that I use to power my Sat Nav.
I have other devices like Ipod for music and of course the mobile phone. It is a pain to have to only use one power lead at a time when on the bike.
As most mobile devices tend to use USB plugs for charging from either the mains or computers, I wonder if it is possible to produce a circuit that can be wired into the ignition circuit on the bike and then have say 3 separate USB sockets into which I could plug My Sat Nav, Phone and Ipod. I have compartments in the fairing on the bike so if small enough it could fit in there. Any ideas / suggestions of circuit / feasability / pointing in the right direction would be great.
I have noticed that a lot of multi power sockets also seem to now have a USB socket included these days. My ambition is to have multi USB and no cigarette lighter style socket.
