Hello,
I connected my MSO5074, now working at 350Mhz, to a 12v battery which was fully charged using the included 10x oscilloscope probe. I pressed the auto button and got "Signal overrange detected". I tried looking in the user manual without success for the message. I also read through the troubleshooting section, again, to no avail.
I tried using a different probe, but I got the same result.
To be clear, the voltage displayed is the correct voltage and has the correct polarity. There's no problem that I can perceive except a scary error message.
Does anyone have an idea as to what's going on?
Thanks!
PS: I'd ask Rigol directly, but they never get back to me.
