Evening guys... Pls i need your help on this assignment. (1) Using any simulation tool of your choice, design a MOD-13 counter using commercial J-K flip flop. The output should be monitored with four LED'S as well as 7-segment display

attached within is WHAT i have tried to do. Pls help
I would not recommend using that topology. The problem is that it uses gated clocks. As soon as you add any additional logic you are likely to produce glitches on your clock lines and get unpredictable behavior. Better to stick to a fully synchronous design in which all clock inputs are driven from a single free running clock signal.

I will second the call for a synchronous design.

This thread details a design approach for a Mod-3 and a Mod-10 counter - extending it to a Mod-13 counter is not difficult, is a matter of filling out your state table accordingly and following the same steps as explained.

what is your requirement.?
Counters are of two types.
1.synchronous
2. Asynchronous

in the above thread , the circuit u have considered was asynchronous counter
