Microcontroller to energize 2 relays

Hey B.

I have set up the circuit, and it seems to work fine besides one detail.

I seem to have problems with the switch. It doesn't always work properly and it doesnt switch the outputs smoothly after each click. I will ahve to press maybe 2 to 3 times until it goes to the next output. I thought the debouncing circuit takes care of that problem but it seems as though it does not. Any suggestions?

Thank you kindly.

sounds like the debounce circuit is too long, lower the value of the capacitor, or change the value of the resistor to see if either one makes a difference, if the debounce circuit was not working, you would see more than one input every time you press the switch..

oh B i almost forgot to tell you.

The relay coils use 6VAC to be energized , so i modified the circuit by using another dc relay , anad using its contact outputs to energize the AC relay. Is this a good method or is there a better way to do it? i.e OptoCoupling? Thank you.
