Microcontroller inside an ESC

Which microcontroller is present inside an Electronic Speed Controller and a Buck Converter ?
It could be any of dozens of different microcontroller brands and each manufacturer offers downs to hundreds of individual devices. Then each Microcontroller can be programmed to do just about anything with hundreds to a hundred-thousand lines of programming code.

So, what are you hoping to do with your ESC?

I want to use it for some simple RC project( I am a beginner). But I guess you got a point. It could be any of the microcontrollers available. Thanks!

Go to the Picmicro site and search 'Sensorless BLDC'.
For typical RC use, only one direction is required, as the motor leads are swapped to obtain the other dir.
Also Google DIY ESC for RC
Max.

Thanks Max. But are Picmicro site and microchip.com same ?
