I am trying to simulate a medium voltage cable Heat Cycling Test on PSPICE. I am aware that the low resistance, shorted bare conductor end, acts like the secondary winding of the transformer (shorted cable). What electrical information would I need in order to simulate? How would I simulate?
Possible information that is needed:
Primary Side: Inductance & Resistance in series? Volts per turn?
Secondary Side: Resistance, inductance, & cable capacitance?
