Using a Nano or Uno board -

This example generates a pulse to be measured on pin 5 and measures it on pin 13.

Pulse Width is spoken thru PC speaker (board has to be tethered to PC USB port).
Board has to be programmed with SA5Firmata using Arduino IDE, then code done
in Snap4Arduino as shown below.

Note you could trivially add, in GUI code blocks, ability to speak V and Freq and
multiple points of measurement to the Arduino to make it a more capable talking measurement tool.

Certainly blind usage comes to mind, but handy in the lab, especially if your hands
are not free to manage multiple simultaneous tasks. Make a great talking DAQ
system or a data logger/board troubleshooter easly customized. Test beds for
assembly line workers.......
