I am looking for a data sheet for a motorola chip from long ago
MC1405L

Have looked all over the net was hoping someone would know of a place to find this type of information... thanks!

your best bet of getting the datasheet of that old chip is still with motorola or at onsemiconductor. i once had that same problem, you just have to be persistent with their people and eventually have you what you want. its either you get the datasheet or if that is a phase out item they will give you the substitute which is usually the improved version.

 

Here I found complete MC1405L datasheet. It's a A/D converter in DIP16 package (MC1505L is the same chip with extended -55 to 125 C operational temperature range).
