I have a proform 730 CS with a damaged motor control board. The board is MC-60. The MOV1 is blown, I can't find the values to replace it. Any help out there i would greatly appreciate it.

The MOV is across the incoming supply and generally when it carries out (or attempts ) its job, it is destroyed, if this was a high voltage surge on the AC line then it may have taken out one of the DC bridge components in the process.
The board should work without it, just for testing, but if not then there is other issues.
Max.

If that is the case, and it works without it, do you have the values of that particular MOV? I know it is 8.5mm. But that is all. Thanks in advance

I still cannot find the correct value for the MOV1 on this mc-60 control board. Is there any way you can tell me, or send me a picture if it. Please, and thank you.

Hi MaxHeadRoom

I've read a few pages and saw the circuit diagram and it looks like you are the expert on these MC-60 PCB's
a friend of mine brought me this PCB , MC-60M , it looks like it had a voltage spike on the input.
it burned the track between D4 and D3 and the MOV1 did his job.

Can you please confirm the following damaged components for me :

MOV1 : (gone) replacement : V150ZA20P … but seeing this is South Africa that runs on 220V AC and the C16 is 250V, I should bump it up to a V330ZA05P
C16 : AC 102M X1 400v Y2 250v … looks like a MOV... but its a Cap
D3 : 1N4005
D4 : 1N4005
R37 : has been cut , but will leave as is.
