i am going to commence studying physics of semiconductor,before i start i would like to know that i want to be strong in maths(like calculus ,numerical methods)?

 

The maths required is not very difficult or complicated

Revise
The exponential function
Simple partial differntials
Simple Matrices
Simple integrals
Greek letters

I say the last because you will need to be comfortable with the Greek alphabet.

Make sure you know all the maths in the page, although you will not yet know what the variables stand for.
