How do you know it is the file being referenced?

 

That's where I thought it was from but looking at the LTS Wiki and downloading Bordodynov's library zip file I didn't find it?

Are you sure 0 is a zero and not a letter "O"?

 

Zener.lib should be located in:
..\LTspiceXVII\lib\sub

 

Peeking in his zip file he has this, so it looks like I need to update my lib

And within it, there is the 1N4030A so it looks like I need to redo my lib files or at least add this.

 

Nope, looks like I need to reload the entire zip file.

 

Zener_DiodesInc.lib and zener.lib these files contain errors (wrong models). This is the fault of the model developers. I stumbled on this and some models I corrected. But it takes a lot of work to fix (and even test) all the models. So I gave up trying to fix the models. Especially I don't like this model structure.

I was going to try and look at how it reacted between Iz(knee) and Iz(max) as I played around with Vs and the R limiter value. Guess I'll have to burn up a few diodes the old fashioned way...
