Maybe, but remember what I said about the numbers going out the window if you try to suck too much power too fast? Figure these batteries should be limited to 100ma max, and they will last a while.

Every battery manufacturer has a website with its datasheet.
It can supply 2800mAh only when its load is only 25mA.
When you load it with a lot more current then it quickly dies. At 500mA its rating is only 700mAh when its voltage has dropped to 0.8V per cell.
Well, "AA" is the common name, but doesn't include the chemistry.
LR6 is the IEC name for an AA alkaline battery; basically shorthand. Most of the earlier battery types can fit in a 3- or 4-character field.
The shorthand names were likely quite important when mainframe computer storage was at a premium back in the 60's thru the 80's.
ANSI/NEDA names are different, too. Why that is, I have no idea. But, I digress - and this is wandering off of our OP's topic.
