I am trying to ID this IC so I can repair this board. The IC is intact in the picture but it now has some leads missing. Trying to locate a replacement. It has push buttons connected to it. They are for power ON, seek up, seek down, mute, volume up, volume down, and band. It is from a Clarion marine radio external remote. The remote is wired not wireless. The remote model is CMRC3D Please see the picture. Thank you.

the image is there but it is not showing any other parts so one cannot tell the application or estimate scale or actual chip size/package version. it is some 20-pin surface mount IC labeled ETD24. from the post we know it is used in remote so it is a encoder/sender. likely for IR. could be a rebrand. "Clarion marine radio" does not help narrow it down.
