Hi All,
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction here.
I am looking for wire connector that meets the following requirements
  1. 8 amps max @ 24V
  2. minimum of of 6 pins
  3. Panel Mount on one side ( with a pre installed 18awg tail would be a huge time saver to avoid soldering as I have to make about 20 in short time)
  4. matching connector has a pre wired 18awg tail
  5. durability is some what of an issue as the connection will be broken often. An Ip rating would be nice but not a deal breaker
Here's some additional info for my project.
I am mounting a 24v power supply into a milwaukee pack out which will power 3) 5 channel led drivers. Each driver will be wired to the a Panel mount connector. I have reached out to switchcraft to see if they can provide me with something but I am waiting to hear back.

plastic body, threaded, cheaper option (L), and metal body, tab locking, costlier option (R)
both offer 15A ampacity in the 6-pin version, with the plastic version you get IP68 dust/water
proofing while the metal one only offers IP67, this is probably down to the locking style.

Here are two very affordable options from AliExpress. I haven’t used these but they are on my list for future projects and the low cost means evaluating them is within reach without much pain.

The plastic bodied version is <$5.00USD/pair. Both offer maximum intrusion protection with the IP6X rating but threaded locking of the plastic version gives it an IPX8, immersible rating, while the metal connector depends on the close mating if the two shells only offering IPX7.

This is still tight against “strong jets of water” so quite possibly more than enough (e.g.: even the hardest rain should not be a problem). The downside I see with the threaded locking is certainly not is speed. It adds just that much more time to set up and strike.

The metal bodied version is <$7.50USD/pair so while it is nearly twice the cost it is not very expensive. Its tab lock is not only faster it also eliminates any chance of crossthreading. I don’t know how much risk there is, since from what I gather the shells are PA6 (Nylon), but it could be a bad day if it happens on the road.

Both exceed your ampacity and voltage needs with identical 15A and 1500V ratings. They are available from many sellers which is confidence building. I believe these are standard connector but can’t confirm that at this time.
