Long Solenoid Approximation

Hey,

I want to coil my own solenoid. But I am not sure if I can use the standard formulae for the magnetic flux density and inductance.
The length of the solenoid is roughly 10cm and the diameter 5cm.
Can i use the standard formulae for these dimensions?
