LMV358D, LMV321DCK, LMV321SINGLE, LMV324D, LMV358PW datasheet (datasheetcatalog.com)

Looking at the PDF description section I see "The LMV324 and LMV358 are low-voltage (2.7 V to 5.5 V) versions of the dual and quad operational amplifiers, LM324 and LM358, that operate from 5 V to 30 V. The LMV321 is the single-amplifier version."

But then under the absolute maximum rating section I see:

So it's limited to a IN+ to IN- V of 5.5Vmax and Vcc to Vdd is also 5.5Vmax? So what is this operate from 5 V to 30 V? A misprint erratum?

It does not say the LMV operates at 5 to 30V. It says the LM358 operates at 5 to 30v and the chip you have is similar in many ways except, that it operates at 2.7 to 5.5v.

The LMV324 and LMV358 are low-voltage (2.7 V to 5.5 V) versions of the dual and quad operational amplifiers, LM324 and LM358,

The LVM324 and LVM358 (which operate from 2.7 – 5.5v) are low voltage versions of the LM328 and LM358 (which operate from 5 – 30v).

It could have been more clearly written.

The datasheet is comparing the low voltage part LMV358 to the old HV part LM358:
"These amplifiers are designed specifically for low-voltage (2.7 V to 5V) operation, with performance specifications meeting or exceeding the LM358 and LM324 devices that operate from 5 V to 30 V. "

It is a 5V part. EDIT: there is also an improved part LMV358A but no mention of the old 30V part in that datasheet.

It's like saying, the Ford F-250 is the higher capacity pickup truck (4300 lb payload) version of the standard pickup truck (F-150) that has a capacity of 3300 lbs.
