Hi AllAboutCircuits,

I am using a LM2907-N for a frequency to voltage circuit. I have looked at the data Sheet http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm2907-n.pdf

I see the maximum voltage is 28 volts, but if I use a ( -15 ground +15 ) does that exceed the voltage as 30 volts. Should I use ( -13 ground +13 ) 26 volts?

The circuit I am using is on page 15

If you need any more information I will gladly post.

The device is a single supply circuit, meaning you connect power between the +15V and ground.

Since 15 V < 28 V your device is quite safe.
