Heres the question, I just have to find V0 and Vs. Here is the answer sheet to the problem, what I don't understand is why is the node 3V0 and why across that resistor is it 2v0? Thanks for the help guys.!

Sure, it's easy. Vo is 2 volts. 2 volts across a 1k resistor is 2 ma. That same 2 ma goes through the 2k resistor to make 4 volts = 2Vo across it. So 2 volts from Vo plus 4 volts from the 2k resistor makes 6 volts, which is 3 times Vo.
