Hello to all the AAC members. I'm new to AAC forums and fairly new to electronics. I have managed to fix some easy-visible problems on pcb's in the past but i have little to no experience at all further than that, so bare with me.

To get to my problem. As the title says i have purchased an LG Flatron 23" back in 2013. A couple of weeks ago it started to do a weird red tint on the right side at random times. I turned it off and back on and everything was ok! Sometimes i had to do that a couple of times to get it back to normal. Apparently that was a temporary fix as something inside was dying and that did happen eventually. Now the monitor has the red tint permanently. So i decided it was time to open it up and see if i could find anything visible to repair. Upon opening i saw on the interface board 2 surface mount electrolytic capacitors with bulging tops and i did replace them only to find out that the problem was still there..I then checked the ribbon cable that goes from the interface pcb to the backlight pcb with no luck. I did checked the 4 ribbons on the backlight pcb also with no luck and as a last resort i did a reflow on the main ic on the interface pcb but still with no luck.. So here i am with a topic on AAC asking for your help. Bare with me as i don't know a lot about electronics and still learning.I'll add some photos below. Any help is appreciated. Pointing my mistakes also. Thanks in advance!
