I want to add some led lights to my truck. I would like them to be triggered by a few different sources Cargo light and reverse lights. Would an inline diode control any feedback between sources? Any other things I would need to worry about. Thanks Michael

 

Diodes are usually sufficient to isolate the sources.
Wiring will depend on how the sources are activated, either low or high side switching.
