I have a laser printer model Samsung SCX-4321NS and it has 16 character 2 line LCD display but it is not backlit. I am thinking is simply remove it and buy a 16x2 LCD with blue/green backlight and replace it with old one. My question is will it be so simple. Where will the backlight get its power from? If I just put back the ribbon cable at back will everything work? I am almost a novice with experimental thinking but here I just thought to ask you experts. Please guide.
