Is that URL different that the Today's Posts or New Posts? I don't know what the difference is between "days=1" and "recent=1". To me it looks the same as Today's Posts.

I think the New Posts is the same as Today's Posts except it does not include threads that the database currently has marked as being read for your username. At least that is what I think -- hard to tell for sure.

The URL I gave lists all threads that have been posted to within approximately the last month, without regard to whether you have read them or not. Threads with unread posts are shown in boldface, as usual.

 

Thanks. Would have made more sense for them to use the parameter "months" instead of "recent".
