Hi, I am new here, and not an electronics genius, but have some knowledge.
I am building a laser cutter engraver, and need some advise on the Mosfet circuit.
At the moment it is meant for a 5v laser I wish to use a 12v one, do I need to change any components to do this.

Only the current-regulated power supply. Your switch will still function as-is and does not depend on the voltage of the laser circuit as long as it doesn't exceed the ratings of the MOSFET.
