Hello, I damaged pins on ribbon cable that connects keyboard pcb with “daughter pcb”. I couldnt find locally the reverse direction style cable same like original one that id damaged so I will get forward direction one. Is it possible to make it work same way? Im not sure about directions and how should be cable oriented inside connectors. I would like to not blow it up, so if its risky i will wait till my reversed cable arrives from China. Original cable has blue stickers facing up on both connectors, however connectors seems to have connector on both bottom and top side. Thanks for any tips.B02CE09E-8A26-4175-9D0F-44A107916CB0.jpeg40A0507E-F355-4ABC-9B67-3B59821304BF.png47025E94-D6FB-4A74-90B8-000DCC2F474F.png6EBB3CFB-0968-43A2-93CE-11B88848AAD9.png

If one of the connectors has contacts on both sides of the cable then the forward direction cable should work the same as the original. That is my guess.

it seems like both connectors got contact pins on both sides. But im still not 100% sure how the connection should look like to match pin direction

You mean both with blue part on top and pins down? Wont the flow on forward cable be different from reverse cable?

Do it exactly as the original cable. Do not twist the cable. Ignore blue part up or down.
Assuming that the connectors make contact on both sides of the cable then it should work.
