Hello, my lecturer explained Karnaugh maps today, but I am still confused as to the best method to break these two examples up into groups.

Can someone please break these two into groups the most efficient way possible so I can learn.

Here I have coloured the different groups. I think its the best way. Read Morris Mano(or any other digital book) for explanation. Its very simple. Probably less than 5-10 pages.

 

in the reply given by narsimhan in the table (B),i don't think red selection is needed b'coz all 1s are already been taken.rest is ok.

ya ur right. that red in table B is not necessary. i made a mistake. that is only needed to make it hazard free.
