Hi all,

I'm having an issue with a Kalamera wine cooler, and there's barely any info online about this cooler, or I don't know how to search for the proper info. I've performed some home appliance repair successfully in the past, but this has me stumped. I'm hoping someone can lend some insight.

When the fans and peltier cooling unit are plugged in, something on the circuit board makes something like an arcing noise, but I can't figure out where it's coming from. I've tried to capture it in the attached video.

Have you looked at the underside of the PCB, there may be a dry joint arcing.

I flipped the board over but I couldn't see anything suspicious or arcing when I turned it on. How would you go about narrowing down what might be the issue?

 

Here is circuit diagram of one of these , you can check the mains supply across the input capacitors C20/21 to see if it's getting any voltage, the primary side will be the same. If it's not oscillating it won't produce any output voltage.
