Under your tag at the upper right of the screen, you'll find "conversations".

 

On the page I see, the label is, "Inbox"
High on the right in a dark blue horizontal band about 0.35 inches thick.
That's where, "conversations" or Personal Messages show up.

No....you can't close a thread. Just let it go. When you got something else to say or ask....just start a new thread......just guess what sub forum to put it on....that will be fine.

There are two color schemes, the pleasant blue (vB 3.x Fluid) and hideous orange (AAC Updated v3) -- guess which I prefer .

The new orange one is the default.

You can change them either by settings in your preferences, or by a quick link that is on every page. On the blue scheme it is in the lower left corner of the page. On the orange it is in the upper right corner. Try them both out and pick the one you like better.
