My JJRC Drone works well with the supplied remote, but when I control it from my MOTO E smart phone, no luck. Get msg on phone - device connected, no internet and I get the eternal rotating ring - any ideas appreciated.

Do you have an app on your phone that is supposed to control your drone? You really have not given us much information to work with.

 

Which model of JJRC drone do you have? they advertise a lot of different ones.
Does the instruction manual state that it can be controlled using a smart phone?
If so, have you downloaded the right software to your phone?
You get a message that there is no internet connection. Have you tried turning on the Wi-Fi on your phone? You will need to be in an area where there is active Wi-Fi. The phone may be trying to establish a Wi-Fi connection to install the correct software for your drone.
