My 30 year old Janis subwoofer amp just started to read 90V at the speaker terminals, probably no surprise after 30 years use though. First impulse was to replace the transistors (pair of 2N3055's) which I did, no change. I have some basic skills, read meter, swap components, soldering, some basic electronic knowledge but really consider myself at the novice level. What am I seeing at the output? Is this the secondary transformer output? if it is should it be this high, I thought the operating voltage should be in the 12-24V range? Is there a step by step procedure I should be following here to locate the next logical culprit or is this clearly an obvious fault to anyone but me issue?

This is a Janis Interphase 1, I believe this is the first offering from Janis. The control panel has an amp light., bass level, comparater-bypass/normal switch and a phase control. Thanks, in the mean time I will look up op stage.
