My loved one is currently in prison and trying to learn about making amp circuits. I know nothing about this stuff but spend hours every day lately on the phone with him looking up different stuff because he is trying to build a stereo speaker using pieces he removed from other electronic pieces. He wants me to find some kind of site that has a library or catalog of completed breadboard examples for different transistor amp circuits. If someone can point me in the right direction I'd be FOREVER grateful.

An experimenter's breadboard will not be a long-lasting place for an audio amplifier. Not only are they rather fragile, but in addition they are not really suitable for handling much power. And the text of the one link describes an LM386 amplifier powered from a 9 volt battery as sounding great. For how long from a 9 volt radio battery??? And "sounds great?? compared to ?????

He's going to need a soldering iron, flux and solder. He's not going to be allowed to have those items in jail.

Welcome to AAC. Best he can do is study amplifier circuits. As for making something from stuff he can scavenge in jail - he'll be greatly limited.

You'd be surprised what he can do in there, I am. He made a solder iron. He works doing hvac there so he has access to a shop where he has access to things as well.

Thank you, but i am trying to find pictures of completed projects. Breadboards that have already been set up for the project that it's for. That way he can look at how he's supposed to do the breadboard for his circuit. I have tried searching but what he is wanting I can't find.
