I'm looking to purchase a new soldering station. I'm kinda in love with Hakko. I'm thinking a FX-951. In my searching for the best price, I realized that Hakko is doing a buy 3, get 1 free promotion. I.E. 25% off when you purchase 4 stations.
The FX-951 is $250. If four of us get together, we can get them for $187.50 each. Plus shipping/handling.
I might even entertain the idea of upgrading to a FM-203 or FM-204 if there was interest....
So anyone else out there looking at buying a Hakko station and want to go together and save some money?
