Bertus has figured out an ingenious method for inserting posts within an existing thread. It is a moderator only function, which is just as well.

There have been a few other members that have tried their hand at writing. One of the problems I fought doing this (long before I was a moderator) is it is very hard to judge how long a finished article is, so you wind up running out of room and have to continue after other members posts. No fun a tall.

Of course, the blogs get around this, but the forum threads actually do have a few advantages.

If anyone needs a post inserted in a thread just ask a moderator (such as me) and we'll get er done.

Thank you Bertus.

PS: I have reworked my forum article LEDs, 555s, Flashers, and Light Chasers with this technique. It will continue being my working area, while the blog version of LEDs, 555s, Flashers, and Light Chasers will be where I put the finished revisions.

There's nothing much to it. We, the mods, can simply insert on demand a new post below any post you require.
Then you can edit it to your liking.
