I am currently working on a project for a medium sized company that are currently using barcode stickers to track their and identify their products. They recently received an offer from NXP for their RFID tags and are considering using RFID instead of barcode.

My task is to research whether or not this would be feasible for them.

I would love to get some information from someone who has successfully implemented RFID into their products.

What are the hidden pitfalls I should look out for?

 

Boeing uses RFID for all parts of 777 aircraft. Used to be 64 bits (max) but I believe it has been expanded significantly.
