Hi guys, i've built homemade 1w sound amplifier. And when i connected all the wires, it worked good. Then i disconnected it and tried to turn it on after 2 or 3 hours. And i heard cracking in speakers and my TDA2822M heats. It becomes very hot in less than 10 seconds. Any suggestions why is that happening ? Please Help!

 

Could be anything, but most likely a wiring fault or something is shorted out; you must check your work carefully. The chip may have died as a result.
