designator Q16, it's from the Nividia Shield pro set top box.
this smd is right behind the 19v DC input port. marking code 1050C. it's shorted, need replacement, but would like ask for help to identify the replacement part. the current measure on pin 1-6 (anti clockwise )to ground is:
1. 1.2 ohm
2. 1.2 ohm
3. 10k ohm
4. 25M ohm
5. 1.3 ohm
6. 1.3 ohm

this board has earlier version using marking code 10552, new version using marking code 1050C, see pictures.

 

it looks like a DC to DC regulator to me because the pins are relatively thick.

 

Possibly Torex XC6415 LDO regulator.

 

Thank you @MrChips, checked the data sheet, it looks highly possible. I'm going to order the parts and try. there are so many sub models, main difference is the output voltage with 1.8v, 2.5v or 3.3v 3.3v, guess it's 2 channel output voltage. If it was you, which one will you try?

 

I removed the SMD and measured the ohms and voltage. comparing from Pin 1 to 6:
1. 1.2 ohm (before remove), 1.3 ohm(removed), 0v(removed)
2. 1.2 ohm(before remove), 1.3 ohm(removed), 0v(removed)
3. 10k ohm(before remove), infinity (removed), 0v(removed)
4. 25M ohm(before remove), infinity (removed), 19v(removed)
5. 1.3 ohm(before remove), 1.3 ohm(removed),0v(removed)
6. 1.3 ohm (before remove), 1.3 ohm(removed),0v(removed)

it looks the pin 1,2, 5,6 ohms no change before and after smd removal, are all nearly shorted, and Pin 4 has input voltage of the DC in, while XC6415 LDO max operating voltage is 6v, it looks not matching.
any idea?
