I have improved the transformer winding models. Now you do not need to enter the option .opt Gshunt=.... No floating nodes.
If you add a core to the ideal transformer, it stops transmitting DC current. I have different cores. Linear and non-linear cores with different models. Sometimes I make from a real transformer the ideal one for low signal AC (for stabilizer) analysis. I supply sinusoidal voltage to the transformer input with 90 degree phase shift. This results in an operating voltage after the rectifier bridge. This is how I use a DC transformer for circuit research.
