Hi
Couple of years ago i bought an ide to usb converter cable which i used to convert my internal harddrives into external devices.
I have an old ATA 2.5" 44pin laptop internal hdd whose pin layout i found here...
When I see this i got confused as there are so many data pins....... But as its evident the usb has only 4 pins of which 2 are power and the other 2 are data.
Can some one tell me which two pins should i use if i want to make my own ide to usb conversion device...
I need this coz
1. i left my converter cable back in india
2. i dont need the full length wire and all the other stuff that comes along with a converter that i buy int he market.
