I have an 6 pin IC which is mostly boost or buck. (HB 2PU) is written on it. Can anyone help me which ic it is?

Look at IXYS or Torex semiconductor regulators.

Are you sure it is HB and not H8?
A well focused high resolution picture of the part would be helpful.
