Not bad, but not great. Looks like a pin-for-pin drop-in equivalent to the part in post #17, but with a bit worse performance.

2 ohm flatness in a 75 ohm circuit is almost 3%. This will show up in the switched signal as differential gain. Not a full 3% DG, but probably around 1%. Compare this to a mux designed specifically for video, which will come in at less than 0.1%. Also, the off isolation will be higher.

In a part like this, the actual switch circuit usually is a single p-channel MOSFET in series between the in and out pins. In a true video mux part, it is three FETs (2 p-channel, 1 n-channel) or bipolar transistors in a T arrangement. The shunt leg is where the way better off-isolation comes from.

Here is a true video switch for comparison. Note that this part also has the output cable drivers built-in. That is a big advantage, as often the performance of a great switch is degraded by the output amplifier pc board layout.

You are 20-30 years too late with this question. Back then, Maxim had a pile of video-specific chips, including many configurations of muxes, that were fantastic. Geezers who designed video circuits in the 70's still drool over them.

Sorry, I forgot I wasn't born by the time.
