So I have a WD SiliconDrive 8gb compact flash card and on the label in says "8GB PATA SSD" the label really throws me off. I googled it and I can't find anything online. If someone knows anything about this please tell me

Why do you think this card is weird?
WD SiliconDrive® CF WD SiliconDrive® II CF Advanced Solid State Storage. So why can't you find data? You may want to start with Western Digital since they made it. It's a PATA (Parallel Advanced Technology Attachment) solid state storage device. Nothing really weird about that.

Cuz none other cf card advertises it to be a ssd
