Had to replace motherboard on subject (has all my AUTOCAD drawings and my AUTOCAD version will not work on anything above MS 7) and when unplugging 4 pin connector the female part fell apart, leaving me with 4 wires with soldered connectors. Have reconnected, heat shrink, and super glued, but would like to get a connector that matches the receptor part. Tag sez: VIVALDI 23.42167.001 but have not been able to find replacement part. Actually gives a date: 2009/06/02 probably other HP models used same connector during this time frame, so pull out all your HP junk and see if you have one you would like to get rid of? There were two of these connectors on my mother board, so hoping someone might have one.

Thanks for looking!!!

Welcome to AAC.

It appears to be a JST XH series connector. What is the pitch (spacing) of the pins? What shape are the pins? Can you take a photo from the front of the connector?

Windows 7 runs fine under Virtualbox.

This could be an escape route for you. I still run some XP stuff this way.
