Hi all.

I wonder what reading I should get to know whether or not this tumble dryer thermostat is working?

It is for a Whirlpool AWZ3428 tumble dryer. I see some vague references of about 11.5 kOhms at room temperature when searching. Other times between 10 - 20 kOhms at room temperature. But nothing specific to the make/model or specific type of thermostat. Appreciate any help here!

Thermistors are generally specified with a nominal resistance at 25°C.
A thermistor with negative temperature coefficient (NTC) will have resistance that decreases as temperature rises.

10kΩ @ 25°C is a common thermistor.

If you give us at least three pairs of measurements, we can categorise the thermistor for you.
