Ok so i need some help. I have a camrea from a back-up car kit. I just wanted to power the camrea and run the video feed through a monitor using a rca plug or av plug. So i cut the cilp off the end of the camrea. There was only 3 wires that came out. The red is power, black ground,and yellow would be video. But the video is a soild wire. I connect the power and ground too the dc plug in the added pic and connected the vid too an AV plug. But once i plug it in and too the monitor i didnt get no signal. Can someone help me out?

once you input your video signal to your monitor,is your monitor selection is in the pproper video in ...(like video in no1 or vidoe in no2.)
select the proper input to be outputed .What type of your monitor a television (CRT OR LCD TYPE).

So how do i connect it too the plug since positive is center and ground is on side?

 

Put your video input on your tv to Yellow, and connect Ground to ground, then select the input for that channel.
