Mythbusters did the router thing in their 'killer deck' episode. http://www.discovery.com/tv-shows/mythbusters/videos/killer-deck-minimyth/Cool video but I would have used a router at 30K rpm or a Air Grinder at 60k rpm vs the grinder at 12k rpm..
