Get off your butt and confront your situation in Life.
Find something productive that you're interested in, with or without the approval of your present friends.
If your friends don't support You, they're not your friends.
Be your own best friend, and to hell with the losers.

That's a bit casual - by definition, an addiction is not easy to escape.

My experiences of addictions (food and tobacco) are that it takes conviction of purpose and lots of willpower.
Yes ... of course, I was just kidding, since the TS hasn't clarified exactly what the problem is ... OTH, the solution is always simple, but the process is hard, complicated and full of bumps. Personally, I don't have an addiction (other than being slightly overweight). But yeah, it must be hard for anyone to have an itch that one shouldn't scratch ...
